Mission, Vision, Values

“The World a Mission Field; Everyone a Missionary.”

  • Mission Statement –

    • By GOD’S Grace and authority, we will grow and serve in faith by, actively sharing the Good News with the community and all people; with Christ Jesus as our focus and with the power and joy of the Holy Spirit.

  • Vision Statement –

    • Faith, Love, Service.

  • Core Values –
    1. Worship We celebrate the joyful worship of Jesus Christ in the style of tradition and diversity.
    2. Praying
      For GOD’S direction in our lives. Leading us and guiding us in all matters.
    3. Total Involvement
      We believe the church is most effective when members serve using their GOD given gifts.
    4. Outreach
      We believe the needs of the people outside the church should be given equal preferences to those inside the church.
    5. Relevant Teaching
      We believe GOD’S word is intended to be understood and applied to daily life.
    6. Education
      We will share in the growth and commitment to Lutheran based education.

The Mission Statement plus the Vision Statement and the Core Values are our foundation to do God’s work here at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The Mission Statement could stand alone, but is given more emphasis when accompanied with the Vision Statement and Core Values.
