If you are wanting your son/daughter to attend spring break camp (March 18th-22). You must sign up in the front office by this Friday, March 8th. If there are not enough students for camp we will not be having a camp.

School Open House

Good Shepherd Lutheran School will have an open house on March 9th, 2024 from 10 AM-2 PM for all current and prospective students. During this time your student and family members can meet current administration, teachers, and staff.  There will be a bounce house and food trucks! Hope to see everyone there!

August 13th 10am Historic Service

This historic service will celebrate the rededication of our school cafeteria and facilities after Hurricane Ian.  Through the outpouring of love, prayers and financial support we were able to rebuild. We are blessed beyond measure! Celebrating with us are Rev. Dr. Ross Johnson – President  and Director of LCMS Disaster Services, Rev. James Rocky – President of the Florida-Georgia LCMS District, Ms. Jennifer Tanner, Executive Director of FLA-GA Dist LCMS Lutheran School, and President Jay Wendland of Lutheran Church Extension Fund and Coordinator of Disaster Relief of FLA-GA District. We will also celebrate the installation of our teachers, admin and staff for the coming 2023-2024 school year. You are welcomed to join us for a Pot Pourri Potluck lunch after service.

 

Food Vendor Opportunity

 23-24 National School Lunch Program (NSLP) vended meal service 

  This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the purpose of obtaining responses from caterers and vendors to provide meal services for Good Shepherd Lutheran School (sponsor) (SFA). Meal programs may include the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Afterschool Snack Program (ASP), and the Seamless Summer Program (SSO). Good Shepherd Lutheran School (sponsor) is a private school located in North Fort Myers Florida. The goal of the Food Service Program is to feed the children at the school nutritious and appetizing food for the new school year. Also if you would like to put in a proposal please contact Desarae Davis ([email protected])at Good Shepherd Lutheran School no later than 7/27.Please see attachment for the full proposal and contract. Also contact us to schedule the tasting or to arrange food being dropped off at the school. The tasting must happen by 7/25/23 to be considered.
