Welcome to Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool

A Preparatory Preschool for children ages 3 and 4.  For children who are 4 years old before September 1 we offer the state-funded VPK program. We have morning and afternoon VPK classes. We also offer wrap around care for those who need childcare before and after preschool hours. We are licensed through DCF and accredited through the National Lutheran Schools Accreditation (NLSA).

Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool goals are to:

  • Provide a Christian setting in which to learn and grow.
  • Provide opportunities and activities to help children feel secure and cultivate confidence on their achievements.
  • Provide meaningful experiences to ensure children’s basic needs for social, physical, emotional, and intellectual growth are met.
  • Give guidance as children develop their own personal initiatives and become more independent.
